Thru Resolution No. 362 s. 2015, requesting Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, CESO III, Regional Director, Department of Education, for the establishment of Erico T. Nograles National High School - B at Brgy. Bago Aplaya, Talomo District, Davao City, the Barangay Council shall apportion an area of about four thousand and seventy two (4, 072) square meters in favor to the Department of Education to be the site of the said school.

Ceremonial groundbreaking of the school site was conducted on November 18, 2015. In attendance were the following: Atty. Alberto Escobarte, Congressman Karlo Alexei Nograles, Asst. Director Tess Tambagan, ASDS Nelson Lopez, the Nograles Siblings led by Bobby Nograles, the men and women of Bago Aplaya Council headed by Punong Barangay Cristito Lazaro, the faculty and staff of Erico T. Nograles National High School steered by Principal Allan Logarta.

On December 7, 2015, Atty. Escobarte, thru Special Order No. R-XI-12, s. 2015 signed the establishment of Erico T. Nograles National High School - B, thus achieving the Brgy. Bago Aplaya ultimate dream of putting-up a school to cater the Grade 7 to Grade 12 students of the community.
